On Monday, October 19, 2015, Robert Edward Carmack, Jr., US Air Force Officer and veteran, alumnus of Duquesne University, opera buff, teacher, mentor, scholar, and friend, age 83, of Beechview. Beloved husband of Marianne Shabatura Carmack; son of the late Robert Edward Carmack, Sr. and Harriet Clarke Carmack (of Edgewood); father of Rebecca (Craig) Mitchell and Robert E. Carmack III (Kelly McGrogan); brother of the late Mary (Bill) Kuchta. Visitation Saturday 10:00 AM until Services at 11:00 AM, followed by reception for family and friends at the First Presbyterian Church of Edgewood, 120 E. Swissvale Ave., Pgh., PA. 15218.
