Born on September 23, 1954. Passed away on June 7, 2016, after an aggressive battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Margaret Bayerlein Stanny; loving father of Samantha Marie Suljic (husband Enis Suljic) and Paul Michael Stanny; caring grandfather of Aubri and Jonah Stanny and Harris Suljic; wonderful brother of Deborah Jenkins, Jacqueline Cipollone, Douglas Stanny and the late Joseph J. Stanny; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul was a friend to many. Friends received Sunday 12-2 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc., 2323 E. Carson St. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday 10:00 AM in St. Adalbert Church, Prince of Peace Parish, 162 So. 15th St., South Side.
