Michael Zurick ( loving Husband , Father ,Son and Grandfather). Michael grew up on the South side from the time he was a young boy he was a hard worker .He went to South high where he met Mary ,the love of his life . A year after graduation they decided to get married. Some said it would never last but they showed them all and they just celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on July 1st . He had three wonderful children ,Nadine ,Steven and Thomas that he loved so very much And three beautiful grandchildren that he adored . He was more than just a father and grandfather to them he was their best friend , the one they could always count on to show them the right way. He was a loving son and made sure he tried to talk to his mom everyday until his voice became to weak .Michael always worked hard to support his family sometimes working two jobs . He worked up until this year ,it was hard for Michael to leave, he didn't know how to not work but the cancer had other plans for him and it all became to much. Michael was a devoted family man. The rock of the family. He loved his wife with all his heart. They had a love and bond like no other. He couldn't imagine life without her. He cherished every moment with his children and grandchildren. He was so very proud of each and every one of them. He was a kind and giving man, who was always willing help out anyone who asked for it. He enjoyed going up his camp and loved to fish with his sons and grandsons. He was a fighter. He had a will to live but the cancer had other plans and his body was no longer strong enough to fight . Thats when he decided to make a bucket list . He wanted to see his son get married ,he wanted to see his patio get done,he wanted to see things get done in the house to make sure his wife was safe after he was gone, he wanted to visit his camp one more time , he wanted to make it to his anniversary and he wanted to watch stars wars with his son . Lastly he wanted us all to know how much he loved us. He got all his wishes , that's when god decided it was time to take him home . There is peace in knowing he is with all the other loved ones who had gone before him.He had faith that god would take care of him and his family and would want them to remember him with peace, love, joy and laughter. We love him so very much and will miss you everyday
