I am sorry about your loss. Death is always difficult to deal with, no matter the circumstances. Even though I did not know Joseph, I try my best to encourage the bereaved with a comforting thought from God's word the bible.
Notice these encouraging words from the bible book of Revelation 21:4. It reads in part, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more...The former things have passed away." This is a promise that gives us all, including those sleeping in death, the real opportunity for a peaceful future. This provides a true hope for us to see our loved ones again.

I remember your Dad when he was a young man, just returning from the service when I was about five years old. My dad was a letter carrier who delivered mail to the Milanak's on the South Side. It was my dad who introduced your dad Joe to his sister Theresa, your mother. I knew Joe because his brother Andy was married to my mother's sister Emily. Your Dad was very sweet to me and was always interested in everything that was happening in my life. I remember him fondly and I will keep him in my prayers. May God grant him Eternal Rest!
