William J. Flanigan

Age 70, of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2023. Beloved husband of Katherine Flanigan. Step-father of Katherine Renee Kincak, Brandon D. Simpson and John C. (Chris Dove) Simpson. Grandfather of Althea and Landon Kincak and Domenick and Giovanni Simpson. Brother of Michael Flanigan and the late David, Patrick and Charles Flanigan and Susan Salla. Also nieces and nephews. Friends received Thursday 2-4 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St., where service will be held Thursday 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's honor to the American Cancer Society.
