It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Susie Olivo, of Pittsburgh, age 96, on April 19, 2025. She was born on August 24, 1928 to Anthony and Philomena “Fanny” in the East Liberty part of Pittsburgh. She was the eldest of four sisters, Peggy (Shieky), Millie (John) and Rosemary (Ralph) who have all predeceased Susie. During her childhood she was surrounded by a caring extended family who gathered for Sunday dinners and holidays.
She married Felix “Bill” Olivo and they were married for over 55 years. They had two daughters, Claudia (Robert) Mosco and Diane (the late Jim Mulvihill) Olivo. Grandchildren, Chrisopher (Holly) Mosco and Kierstyn (David) Viviano and great-grandchildren, Everly, Nixon, Olivia and Sophia. There are numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandma Sue was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She never missed an opportunity to attend a family gathering and her house was always open. Susie loved bingo, and the Steelers, never missing a game on TV. One of her greatest attributes was her ability to make friends wherever she went. Susie will live on in the hearts of many.
