Shirley I. Yalch

Age 83, of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Wife of the late Robert J. Yalch; beloved mother of Kimberly (the late Ruben Lorenzana) Yalch and the late Elizabeth (Paul) Dougherty; grandmother of Sean and Nicole Smith and Aaron Starr; great-grandmother of Coralyn, Sadie, Abigail, Fadaeh and Reagan; sister of Effie Zerbe, Joseph Curry and predeceased by many other brothers and sisters. Friends received Monday 5-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St., where service will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
