Robert W. Thumpston Sr.

Age 86, of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary J. Thumpston. Dear father of Dennis Thumpston, Robert Thumpston, Jr., Rosemary (Martin) Vojtecky and the late Charles Thumpston. Grandfather of Jenna (Dr. Rider) Daas and Charles R. Vojtecky. Brother of the late James Thumpston and Ronald Thumpston. Friends received Wednesday 2-8 PM at Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 2323 E. Carson St., where a Blessing Service will be held Thursday 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
