Obituary
On October 14, 2022, Richard Steven Suchy, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Originally of the South Side of Pittsburgh, Rick resided in Katy, Texas for 42 years. Son of the late Anthony and Mary Ann (Anthony) Naple and beloved husband of Judy. Dearest brother of Robert (Karen), Ronald (Karen), and David (Amy). Step-father of William, Shawn, Joseph, Alisha and Amy. Grandfather to Jonathan, Jordyn, Daniel, Emily, Kylie, and Kevin. Uncle of Ryan, Brian (Nicole), Joseph (Amanda), Kristen, Alan (Christine), Ashley (Tyler) and the late Brandon. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great-nieces and nephews. Special cousin and best friend of Michael Lijewski. Rick loved music, the Houston Astros, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was loved and will truly be missed by all. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the time of memorial service at 11:00 AM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St. All are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the American Cancer Society.
