Regina Leszczewski

Age 102, of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025. Wife of the late Joseph Leszczewski. Regina is survived by her children: Francis (Louise) Larson, Janet (the late Warren) Washburn, Joan (Kozo) Igi, David (Barbara) Leszczewski, Regina (Brian) Scalise, and Susann Leszczewski. She was preceded in death by her children: Patricia (William) Keyes, Joel Leszczewski, and Catherine (survived by James) Kilchenstein. She was the sister of the late Myron Osborne, Lavina Scatton, and Alban, Robert, and Norbert Osborne. Regina's love extended to her 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her greatest joys were God, family, and service to others. Friends received Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 2323 E. Carson St. Funeral Prayer Tuesday 9:00 AM in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at St. Adalbert Church-Mary, Queen of Peace Parish at 10:00 AM.
