Mary Lou (Miller) Collinger

Age 80, of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Miller; beloved mother of Cindy (Robert) Gasparik and Wendy (Charlie) Feldmeier; beloved grandmother of Stephen, Jonathan and Wyatt; sister of Dorothy (the late Charles) Hines, Esther (the late Fred) Miller, Evelyn Miller, Amelia (the late August) Carlino, Ellendale (Frank) Slinskey and the late Robert (Helen), William (Catherine), Elmer Miller and Florence (Richard) Aul. Also many loving nieces and nephews. Friends received Saturday 2-8 PM and Monday 2-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St. No Visitation Easter Sunday. Funeral Prayer Tuesday 9:00 AM, Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Prince of Peace Parish at 10:00 AM. Mary Lou worked for Allegheny County for over 40 years concluding an illustrious career as the payroll division manager with the Controller's Office. Furthermore, she was the elected democratic committeewoman and vice chair for over 40 years, preceded by her mother, Dorothy Miller, serving her community in the City of Pittsburgh's South Side.
