Martin J. "Marty" Uram Jr.

Age 66, of Baldwin Borough, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Beloved husband of Deborah (Mazurek) Uram. Devoted brother of John Paul Uram and the late Louise Uram. Brother-in-law of Fr. Jim Mazurek. Son of the late Martin and Marcella (Devera) Uram. Godfather of Brent Mueller and Anthony Fabio. He is survived by cousins and a plethora of friends. Marty was a graduate of South Side Catholic High School and earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree at Carnegie Mellon University. He spent most of his professional career as a physicist, with his most recent jobs in the medical field, retiring in 2023. Marty was a Luke Skywalker look-alike and loved everything Star Wars. No visitation. Remember him the way you knew him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 20th at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas A' Becket Church-Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, 139 Gill Hall Rd., Jefferson Hills, PA 15025. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Burial will be private. All donations should be made to the Brashear Association, 320 Brownsville Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15210, where Marty was a longstanding board member and board president.
