Marion D. (Sekula) Cready

Age 92, of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Thomas D. Cready; mother of the late Karen Ann Cready and Thomas D. (survived by Tina) Cready, Jr.; grandmother of Taylor Cready and Tara Cready; dear sister of Anna Mae (Pat) Carnevale, Frances M. Sekula and the late John R. Sekula, Stephen Sekula, and Andrew Sekula, Jr.; aunt of Lisa Ann (Greg) Sofish and Patrick (Nancy) Carnevale; loving friend of Gene Sheck and Hilda Marie Lendl. Friends received Tuesday 2-7 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St. Funeral Prayer Wednesday 9:00 AM, Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Mount Church - Mary, Queen of Peace Parish at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Marion Cready's family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the excellent and compassionate care she received at St. Norbert Personal Care Home and Whitehall Borough Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
