Age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 13th, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Joseph Dusch. Beloved mother of Jackie (Ben) Bazner, Linda (the late Tommy) Zajac, Darlene, Jimmy (Terry) Dusch, Renee (Rich) Wetmiller and the late Joey, Tommy, Michael, Paul, Margaret "Maggie" Dusch. Mother-in-law of Mary Jane, Kathy, Eileen and the late Maureen. Loving grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
A woman known by many names: Mom, Gram, Nana, Peg, and of course Mommy. Peg has been the matriarch of the family for decades and her house has always been a beacon of stability. Her door was always open for whoever needed a place to stay or just wanted to hangout, not to mention the endless pound cake and a fully stocked cookie jar. She enjoyed watching scary movies and listening to Elvis Presley. The only thing that she loved eating more than breakfast sandwiches was Page's chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone “strawberries optional”. However, she only despised one thing in her entire life “Butter”. Peg didn’t let old age slow her down as she traveled the world into her late 90s with her travel buddies. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21st from 12-9 PM at Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 2323 E. Carson St. Funeral Prayer Monday 9:00 AM in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Mount Church, Mary-Queen of Peace Parish at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
