Joseph John Mitchell

Age 84, passed away on November 14, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Joe was born on October 3, 1940 in the Woman's Hospital of Philadelphia, PA. Joe was preceded in death by his former wife Johanna (Vroly) and is survived by his present wife Nancy (Eberlein), his children Donna (Bill) Werner, Mike (Dee) Mitchell, Deborah (Steve) Zavorski and step-children Michael (Stephanie) Druga, Kevin Druga, Scott (Misty) Druga, Colleen (Alan) Borasky, Christine (Matt) Brendel and beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joseph served 11 years in the U.S. Air Force reaching the rank of Sergeant. He served in the Vietnam War and was also stationed in Alaska as a mechanic while earning his GED. Joe had many interests and hobbies, including earning his Ham Radio Operators License, shooting at the range, collecting coins and was even voted for a four year term in the Office of Majority Inspected for Allegheny County's 17th Ward.

His remains will be interred at the Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, PA.
