JohnMichael Ziegler

On May 30, 2024, JohnMichael Ziegler, age 59, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his family home after a courageous battle with cancer. JohnMichael was the youngest child of John ("Jack") and Dorothy Ziegler. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA. He lived out his full and wonderful life in Pittsburgh with his devoted and amazing wife Christine Newhouser-Ziegler and his five children. JohnMichael was employed as a Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus driver.

JohnMichael was a true family man who dedicated his life to those he loved. He was funny, witty, and so very giving. He would give the shirt off his back if it meant helping others. From building school playgrounds to shoveling the neighbor's walkways to coaching his children's sports teams, his generosity was unmatched.

JohnMichael is survived by his loving wife, Christine, children, Cody (Erica), Christian (Adriana), Tia, Mya and Keano. He is also survived by three older sisters; Kimberly (Denny), Sherry (Jerry) and Leslie (Cliff), grandchildren, aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
