John E. "Jack" Walsh

Age 70, of Uptown, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2025. Husband to the late Maylena Walsh. Beloved father of Casey Walsh and Ryan (Danielle) Walsh. Adoring grandfather to Maylena. Son of the late Eileen Walsh and Lawrence J. Wernecke. Brother of James T. Walsh. Loving cousin of Donna (Anthony) Dzikowski and the late Richard (survived by Roberta) Woods and Cheryl "Sherry" Woods. Survived by many nieces, nephews, family and beloved friends. Visitation will be held on Monday 1-8 PM at Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 2323 E. Carson St., where a prayer service will be held Monday 8:00 PM.
