John A. "Jack" Bombich

Age 70, of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 14, 2022. Beloved husband of Carol (Macurak) Bombich. Son of the late Jean and Anthony Bombich. Brother of the late Gerri (Rege) Conroy and Nan Jean (Howard) DiBernardo. Also many loving nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol. Jack was a devout Catholic and had a special admiration for the Blessed Mother. Friends received Sunday 12-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St. (No visitation Monday). Funeral Prayer Tuesday 9:00 AM, Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Mary, Queen of Peace Parish at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
