Jo Ann G. (Domzalski) Hornicak

Jo Ann Hornicak, 78, of Baldwin went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at home surrounded by her family on August 11th. She was proud of her Catholic Faith and adored her pets. Jo Ann had a passion for cake decorating and many special events were celebrated with her beautiful creations. Her love for crocheting, crafts, and Christmas Eve dinner only came second to her family, which she loved passionately. Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Betty Domzalski, her brother, Daniel Domzalski, and sister, Ruth Ann Kuhn. Jo Ann is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 55 years, Andrew Hornicak, three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Christa, Michael and Donna, Christopher and Lindsay, and five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Jacob, Shane and Zachary. Her memory and legacy will live on through her grandchildren, who she loved so dearly.

Friends and family received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 2323 E. Carson St. Funeral Prayer Friday 8:00 AM in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Albert the Great Church, Blessed Trinity Parish at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray, PA.
