Jaroslaw "Jerry" Hucul

On March 21st, 2026, Jaroslaw “Jerry” Hucul, age 75, formerly of the South Side, peacefully passed away. Jerry is the son of the late Peter and Anna Hucul. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pat McNally and his precious golden, Maxie. He is also survived by his sister, Stephanie Hucul, and her daughters, Jessica and Jennifer. He was the dear brother in law to Chris McNally, Kathy McNally Kapolka and Jim Kapolka, dear uncle to Jamie Stephans (Justin), Brian Kapolka and the late Jeff Kapolka (Crystal Rogers). He is also survived by his great nieces Taylor, Riley, Hannah and great nephews Devin, Lucas and Cameron.

He thoroughly enjoyed camping, boating and fishing, but his love for fishing had no limits. For the last 35+ years he enjoyed Lake Erie and all his fishing adventures. After a successful day out on the lake, he meticulously prepped his perch and walleye for family and friends to enjoy. His fight is over. We feel he’s gone on to that big fishing lake in the sky where he will meet up with his buddies, Jimmy and Mickey, and they will fish forever!!

We extend our most sincere thanks, gratitude and appreciation to the staff of OPSTA and Genesis of Bridgeville, most especially to our angels, Sarah and Michelle. We wouldn’t have survived this journey without you!

Friends received on Wednesday, March 25th from 1-6 PM at Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 2323 E. Carson St., where a prayer service will be held Wednesday 6:00 PM. Interment private.
