Janet E. "Jan" Cole

Age 71, a Pittsburgh resident since the early 1970's, Jan passed away peacefully on October 19, 2018. She had many friends from her various jobs and activities, living out her commitments to social justice and human and animal rights. Her friends honor the memory of her generous, gentle, and loving soul. She leaves behind her brother, Dick; his wife, Chris; their three children and three grandchildren, from Auburn, WA; and cousins from both her mother's and father's families. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT, in 1947 and graduated from White Pine High School in White Pine, MI, and from Michigan State University. She will be deeply missed and remembered for the way all who knew her were given her complete and undivided loving attention.
