Obituary

Age 83, of the South Side, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Beloved husband of Rita (Denk) Zietak for almost 59 years. Dear father of Eugene (Kathy) Zietak, Rose Zietak-Rupert, and Tom (the late Debbie) Zietak. Also ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Brother of Marlene Paladino, Lorraine Zentkovich, Christine Zietak, and predeceased by seven other siblings. Bill retired from Shenango Steel Company. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, hunting, and fishing. He was an avid Steelers fan and loved playing Tiger Woods Golf on PS2. Affectionately called Mr. Z by his golf buddies and friends, and there were many. Friends received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St. Funeral Prayer Friday 9:00 AM, Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Mary, Queen of Peace Parish at 10:00 AM.
