Estelle R. Lanetz

Of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 1, 2021, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Edward Lanetz of over 55 years; devoted mother of Kimberly Gatti, Keith (Marge) Lanetz and Edward (Jennifer) Lanetz; dear grandmother "Bubby" of Justin, Joshua, Breanna, Hunter, Jessica, Mackenzie, and Jeweliana; sister of Sandy (the late Robert) DeCello and the late Mary Ann (Michael) Mervosh; daughter of the late Simon and Mary Saveikis; also many nieces and nephews. Estelle grew up on the South Side and will always be remembered for the love of her family and her infectious smile. Estelle was loved by all who met her. A special thanks to the UPMC Shadyside Oncology Team. Friends received Tuesday 4-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St., following CDC guidelines. A Blessing Service will be held Tuesday 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Due to the pandemic, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
