Dorothy J. (Pitteroff) Buszko

Age 90, of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nicholas Buszko. Dear mother to Rosemary (William) Geyer and Kathy (Richard) Heilmann. Proud grandmother to Kimberly (Tim) Marchando, Mark (Kelly) Goob, Douglas (Dawn) Goob, Megan Heilmann and William, Jr. (Rebecca) Geyer. Dorothy enjoyed her eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by her siblings, Anne (Ronald) Lehrman, James (Sue) Pitteroff, and Donna (Ronald) Pilarski. She was the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews with whom she shared her delicious cookies, bread and homemade pierogies. Friends received Wednesday 2-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St. Funeral Prayer Thursday 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius X Church, St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish at 10:00 AM.
