Donald Kraniak

Age 93, of Ohio Twp., formerly of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Son of the late Demitri Kraniak. Beloved husband of Dorothy Kraniak for over 65 years. Dear father of Kimberly (Robert Highton), Keith (Debbie Reese) and the late Donna (survived by Paul) Kaczmarek. Grandfather of Kirsten (William) Rial, Brittany, Mason, Kaitlyn (Brayden) Rea, Sean and Tasha. Great-grandfather of Alysa and Leaha Rial and Kaiden Rea. Brother of the late Demitri Kraniak. Friends received Wednesday 2-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St. A Parastas Service will be held Wednesday 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Funeral Service Thursday 11:00 AM in St. Mary's Orthodox Church, 105 So. 19th St. Pittsburgh, PA. 15203 (Everyone Please Meet At Church). Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with U.S. Navy Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Orthodox Church.
