Dennis G. "Cannonball" Yanosick

Age 72, of the South Side, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Sharon (Crites) Yanosick. Dear father of Lindsey (Ben) Shaffer and Kara Yanosick. Grandfather of Lily Shaffer. Son of the late George and Dolores Yanosick. Brother of Carol (Tom) Fallon, James (Kathy) Yanosick, Donna Yanosick, Jane Yanosick and the late George (survived by Sherry) Yanosick Jr. Also many loving nieces and nephews. Friends received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St., where a funeral prayer will be held Tuesday 8:00 PM. Dennis was a longtime employee of Conrail/Norfolk Southern. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
