Denise "Deni" Melczak

Lifelong resident of the South Side, Denise lost a long, courageous battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. She passed away peacefully at her brother's home with family by her side on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Daughter of Agnes Bevan and the late James Bevan. Denise is survived by her best friend, the light of her life, her loving daughter, Kristy Melczak; siblings, Lynn (Chuck) Fievet, Donnie (Jenny) Bevan, Ken (Jenn Jenkins) Bevan and the late Michele and Kevin Bevan; best aunt of Jennifer (George) Hunt, Marissa (John) Pignatelli, Nicole Fievet, Maura Bevan, Lucas Fievet, Cory Bevan, George and Victoria Hunt. Friends received Friday 2-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St. Funeral Prayer Saturday 9:00 AM, Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Prince of Peace Parish at 10:00 AM.
