Carol (Banks) Mounir

Age 69, formerly of the South Side, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Beloved mother of Samira Mounir (Demetrious Roberts). Loving grandmother of Demetri and Saydi. Beloved sister of Tom (the late Linda) Banks, Susan (Yush) Krzyzanowski, Janice (Doug) Moeller, David (Mindy) Banks, and Timee Banks (Laura Boehm). Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, and a friend to all. Friends received Sunday 1-6 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St., where service will be held Sunday 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her daughter and grandchildren.
