Carmella (Zupancic) Segarra

Age 61, of Carrick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved wife of Lou Segarra. Amazing mom to her son, Agustin. Dear daughter of Bill and Barbara Glaneman. Sister of Ronnie (Lori) Zupancic, Michael (Amy) Zupancic, Kelley (Brad) Wagner, and Sandy (Rich) Cupka. Aunt of John, Zac, Nicholas, Emma, Hunter, Logan, Sarah, Hallie, Ella, and Will. Carmella loved hiking, watching her son play baseball, cooking, taking care of the kids at Howe Elementary School, martial arts and her cats. She was a loving, compassionate person and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Friends received Monday 3-7 PM at Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 2323 E. Carson St. Funeral Prayer Tuesday 9:30 AM in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Albert the Great Church, Blessed Trinity Parish at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
