Barbara J. (Kopycinski) McKenry

Barbara J. McKenry of Glenside, PA passed away April 15, 2026 surrounded by her family at the age of 84. Born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Aloysius and Stella (nee Krantz) Kopycinski she was the beloved wife of John G. McKenry who passed away in 1996. She was the loving mother of Rose Ann McKenry of Glenside, PA, Patricia Kelly of Pottstown, PA, Timothy of St. Augustine, FL and the late David McKenry (Dawn nee Kirk). She is the grandmother of 8, great grandmother of 7 and is survived by 3 sisters, 2 brothers and was pre deceased by a brother, Anthony Kopycinski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara was an avid fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23rd, at Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home 2323 E. Carson St., from 11:00 AM until a Prayer Service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Wendelin Cemetery, 2728 Custer Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
