Age 81, of the South Side, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Dearest companion of Carlos Serrano and Pancho. Beloved mother of Sofia "Nikki" Hurney and Keith Capozoli. Grandmother of Kimberly (Tim), Leon (Kelly), Gerry (Val), Lydia (Daniel), Kathleen (William), and Vincent. Great-grandmother of Sophie, Emma, John, Lena, Samantha and Wyatt. Sister of the late Joyce Hartlep and many other family and friends. Visitation Thursday 5-7 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St., where a prayer service will be held Thursday 7:00 PM.
