Alexander Stolar

Age 31, of the South Hills, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Son of Tim (Melanie) Stolar and Magdaline Bakopoulos. Brother of Tyler and Jonathan. Loving companion of Chrystal and father of Maia. Stepfather of Gabriel and Owen. Grandson of George and Sophie Bakopoulos and Mary Ann and the late Daniel Stolar. Alex enjoyed spending time with friends and family, he had an active lifestyle and loved making people laugh. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. Friends received Sunday 12-6 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 2323 E. Carson St. Interment private.
