On May 7, 2017, age 77, surrounded by his family. George is survived by his wife, Dolores; and children, Elaine (Scott) Bruno, George, Jr. (Janie) Miller and John Miller; granddaughter, Mary Miller; brother, Charles (Mary) Miller; and his first wife, Nona Miller; also survived by a niece, nephew and many step-children and step-grandchildren. George worked at J&L Steel for decades and ran the 38 Club for over 40 years. George loved socializing with his many friends and was an avid sports fan. George was a good hearted soul and he will be missed by everyone who knew him. Visitation in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St. on Wednesday and Thursday 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Prayer Friday 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul of the Cross Monastery at 10:00 AM.
