Born August 16, 1919, to Michael and Josephine Wozniak in Pittsburgh, PA. passed on Sunday, January 1, 2017, graduated from South High School and retired from the Pittsburgh Public School System. Sophia enjoyed being outdoors working in her yard. She loved swimming and was a great cook. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Paul; and husband, Paul Adomaitis; and siblings, Stanley and Michael Wozniak, Josephine (Joseph) Halapatz and Frances (Edward) Bozewicz; left to cherish her memory are her five children, Christine (Joseph) Plesh of Greensboro, NC, Dennis (Paula) of Derry, PA, Paul (Deneen) of North Huntigdon, PA, Conrad (Pamela) of Bethel Park, PA and Amy (Kenneth) Galbraith of Canonsburg, PA, who lovingly cared for her; also 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
