Peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the age of 89, formerly of the South Side. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Nugent; loving father of James Patrick, Colleen, Timothy (Linda) and Terry. Also cherished grandfather of Timmy, Jr.; brother of Noreen Crummie, Thomas and Nancy McAllister of Lewiston, NY and the late Robert, William and Gerald. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Retired from Equitable Gas Co. after 35 years of service. Dedicated sports official in Western PA for over 35 years.  Longtime coordinator of South Side Meals on Wheels. Proud veteran of WW II. Friends received Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Sunday 1-4 and 6-8 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E.
